They conceived the apartment as “a container for contemporary life.” These collected objects are in different combinations and positions in order to feel more refined and special in the flat.
The dark, velvety walls drive your attention to the objects instead, which are oppositely luminous. This fact lets us more engaged with the setting. This passes the feeling that the space is not big in terms of scale but it is certainly majestic due to the richness of the materials– silk rugs, oxidised metals, aged timbers, glossy table surfaces and textural artwork. The opulence of these textures mixed with the drama of the natural lighting imbue this space with a sense of magnificience.
